I am very pleased with the staff of Autumn Leaves. They are super nice. They've been very helpful and they've been with me a 100%. I don't know how they could have been any better. My husband is happy there. However, there is one wing that does smell.
I visited this facility
We went to visit the Autumn Leaves of Arlington assisted living facility while in the region. The staff graciously gave us a tour even though we did not have an appointment. This tells us that the staff is flexible, which is important to us – and that they are proud of the environment.
They specialize in Alzheimer’s and dementia care – and the staff seemed very adept at handling many different ambulatory levels, as well. They residents are free to enjoy the outer areas in a safe manner. We really liked the park-like outside area where they also enjoy social gatherings and walks daily.
Seniors are regularly encouraged to engage in social activities like discussions and games, as well as reading and media. The nicely designed rooms offer very adaptable furnishings for easy access.
The lovely resident private rooms are designed according to senior taste, with their comfort and ease in mind. They all have plenty of bright natural light.
The dining rooms are all homey and comforting. They host regular gatherings and parties in the rooms when they are not being used for eating. They can also be reserved by residents for parties with loved ones.
They have many menus featuring a nice mix of healthy foods. They also prepare many of the resident’s favorite dishes and take special requests. The food looked very appetizing, as well as the snacks, offered regularly throughout the day. The residents may request snacks at any time.
The residents take many trips for dining at restaurants, visiting art galleries and the local library – as well as cultural events and shopping.
Fitness rooms offer weekly yoga and stretching classes plus aerobics – and they may also choose to use equipment. They also enjoy many supervised walks along the grounds.
The residents here are very well taken care of by exceptionally nice and able staff.
