At Gracious Care Homes we offer dignified quality care for seniors. All our homes are spacious, located in quiet, upscale residential neighborhoods. The homes are secured and handicap-accessible. Our trained and experienced caregivers provide compassionate, individualized personal care.
Residents and family members can furnish and decorate the room to make it feel like home. Private and semi-private rooms are available. The homes are handicap-accessible. The doors are monitored and secured. Personal care services include assistance with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, laundry and linen service. We help our residents maintain as much dignity and independence in their daily activities as possible.

I visited this facility
We visited the Gracious Care Home in the Allen area since we were in the area looking for a place for our aunt to live.
The outer grounds resembled a country home - with a porch in back where seniors and their visitors could enjoy the chairs and nice views.
The interior was lovely with antiques, a grandfather clock and nice area rugs. Each communal room offered a place where seniors could socialize, read, enjoy a TV show or film, play games and gather for parties with other residents and visitors.
The private rooms were all well decorated with personalized furnishings and they all looked like very nice living spaces for the residents.
The dining room had very nice furnishings in a comfortable, home-like setting. The menus included a nice variety of healthy and delicious foods. All of the options looked appetizing. The snacks are offered throughout the day. We also liked that they encourage drinking plenty of fluids for healthy hydration each day.
The residents may enjoy walking each day around the grounds safely, and are encouraged to participate in regular exercise classes like yoga and aerobics, or use equipment with assistance, if they need it.
The seniors are taken out regularly on fun excursions for local culture, music, shopping and restaurant dining. We also liked that there are many medical facilities nearby.
We could see how well the residents were treated by the staff and how much they enjoyed their living environment.
