I went to many other memory care facilities in my journey to place my mom after caring for her 5 yrs. others may be beautiful and are designed to look presentable for the family member placing there loved one. Not for what is so desperately needed for someone suffer from alzimers and dementia. My mom has been there for 2 weeks and the transformation in her is a blessing. The simplicity of Aliso Laguna Villa is the heart foundation for quailty of life with this disease.The people running it or working there feel like family. The people living there feel like they are safe and have friends and family again. Even when they have no one. I am there everyday sometime all day. It was so hard to place my mom but she was not safe anymore in my home unless I was by her side 24/7. Being extrememly healthy and mobile but with sever dementia. The challenges to keep her dignity and safe in an evnvirorment that life must go on and all the things we need to do that she no longer could comprehend what to do with them. All memory care facilties must not be so busy or have to many choices at hand. Simplicity in this place may look to us unpresentable but for someone suffering this Home and all whom work there is the heart of what is needed to bring peace to this horrible disease. Thank You for not caring about what looks good to me along with providing a affordable home b/c you truely care for my mom. Dawn Denney
