Circle Center Adult Day Services

Circle Center Adult Day Services provides the Richmond, VA, community with high-quality, cost-effective daycare for frail or functionally-impaired older adults, and respite, education and support for their caregivers. Services and activities are structured to improve the participant's physical, cognitive, and mental capabilities. The caregiver, knowing their loved one is safe and supervised, gets respite and time for other responsibilities.

The Center is a Medicaid-certified adult day health care center, meeting standards of the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services. The six-day-a-week program at Circle Center provides a variety of services, based on the assessed needs of each person.

Services include a written individualized care plan, daily nursing (RN) care, social work services, emotional and cognitive support, a unique Montessori-based program for those with dementia, a Snoezelen multisensory enviroment, a wellness program in dedicated space including strength, balance, flexibility training, rehab coordination including on-site occupational, physical, and speech therapies provided by an area home health agency, cognitive and physical games, arts and crafts, music programs including a bell choir, breakfast, lunch and two snacks, help with personal care including showers, support groups for participants and caregivers, educational seminars and counseling for caregivers, caregiver respite and coordination of transportation.
