I am a friend or relative of a resident

My grandfather was a resident at this facility for over three months. I visited him on a daily basis and became very familiar with the services offered to residents, as well as the staff caring for the individuals. The nurses were extremely responsive, caring, and considerate. They not only cared for the patient, but also made conversation with visitors to make us feel at home. The social workers were a major part of the resident experience. They were always around to cater to residents. For instance, they would go to each room, personally invite residents and visitors to activities (such as ice cream socials, movie showings). One social worker came into my grandfather's room to listen to his favorite music with him. They were accommodating and truly cared about the welfare of the residents. The facility also had a park nearby that allowed residents to go outside and enjoy fresh air. Also near the outside section, there was a large bird section where residents can sit and watch the birds in a relaxing viewing area. Altogether, the facility was an incredible place for residents to get sufficient care and attention, as well as love and affection.
