Active Day of Lexington

Active Day is designed for individuals 18 years of age and older who have chronic physical or cognitive impairments. Active Day is a preferred alternative to nursing home placement. We provide engaging activities, opportunities for socialization and expert health care. Much more than an outlet for social engagements, Active Day also provides health care support services including assistance with daily personal care and hygiene, administration of medications and injections, wound care and regular monitoring of blood pressure and blood sugar.

Active Day offers a safe and comfortable environment for individuals who require health care supervision and support services as a result of chronic conditions such as: Alzheimer’s, COPD, Parkinson’s, Stroke, Diabetes, Developmental Disabilities, Congestive Heart Failure, Multiple Sclerosis & other Neuromuscular Diseases, Autism, Dementia, Seizure Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury and Mental Health Diagnoses. Our center is well-suited for individuals with special needs who are transitioning from high school or retiring from a sheltered workshop.
