Elderly Day Care is available at Alden Poplar Creek, in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Overall, I thought Alden Poplar Creek was a very nice facility. I have a friend that resides there and he has made several friends with the residents and with those in day care.
The grounds of the facility are fair. It would be more appealing if there was a path or a trail. This would allow the clients an opportunity to move around the grounds with better access and a path to explore. The common areas of the facility are very nice. There is a wonderful community area in the basement that is inviting in décor. The facility also has a barber shop and ice cream store in the basement. It is very inviting to the residents and to visitors. There are activities both on and off site for those in day care and for the residents to enjoy. The staff and management of the facility are very friendly and helpful. I have interacted with many staff including the admissions director, the receptionist, the social worker and many nurses. I have found all of them very caring toward the resident and helpful to family and friends. I think the residents get above average to excellent care there.

Overall, Alden Poplar Creek is an above average to excellent facility. I would recommend it to anyone seeking Senior day care.
