Confident Adult Day Care

Confident Day Care Adult Health Center is a medical day care for adults with physical disabilities that need assistance or supervision throughout the day. CDC provides door-to-door transportation for all participants.

Hours of attendance are 9am to 2pm and/or 2pm to 7pm. A typical day at the center includes nursing care, coordination of all services in and out of the facility, 2 hot meals catered from a variety of culturally appropriate restaurants, trips to stores, museums, shows and more. A multitude of social activities including bingo, bowling, tournaments (cards, billiards, pool, chess), chair exercises, computer classes and illustrations, shows, choir groups, and arts and crafts activities conducted by our art therapist.

Nursing care is provided by our 4 RN’s and 1 LPN and includes assistance with transfers, toileting, ambulation, eating, medication administration, vital signs and coordinating all medical care with your physicians. Social work services are also provided by 2 Masters level social workers and include assistance with housing, OEO, telephone services, Medicaid/Medicare, family and individual counseling and more.
