Thank you for this wonderful article. I work for a family that I love dearly. Their son was and is the one who looks after his parents needs which are many. I sometimes see the stress as he struggles to make the right decisions for them. I am glad he hired me to help with their care. Men don't hesitate to hire help when needed. It makes your care that much more meaningful. And the time you spend with them will not all be caring but will include sharing and making memories, good ones that will last forever.

It has helped me understand the role my brother plays in caring for my sister-in-law. We live oceans apart and give him the emotional support that we can, and he does phone and 'discuss' problems with me. This helps him to 'vent' off. I admire him for the wonderful care and consideration he gives my sister-in-law. He is a great guy!
