Atrial Fibrillation
A heart rhythm abnormality that causes the atria (the upper chambers of the heart) to beat very rapidly and irregularly, quivering instead of contracting normally. Symptoms may include palpitations, fatigue, dizziness, and nausea. AF can also lead to other rhythm problems and congestive heart failure. The most serious complication is stroke.
