Make sure you know the Stroke Warning Signs. and have the Cincinnati Stroke Scale posted on your refrigerator and near your phone. If you notice that the person you're caring for is showing any warning signs, note the time and ask him or her to perform the three movements explained on the Stroke Scale. If any of these movements are abnormal according to the scale, dial 911. Don’t wait.
