I found more information in this one article than I found in any other; thank you. I do need information on Professional/business liability insurance and retaining an attorney when dealing with the elderly and disabled. Any advice.

For 25 years I have helped clients purchase insurance for Nursing Home, Assisted Living, Adult Day Care and Stand Alone Home Nursing. It is a very viable solution to the high cost of nursing care but in many cases can be too expensive for the Client to afford. One of the reasons is that the client has to purchase a large amount of daily benefit and is not trained to get the most out of the benefits they have purchased. We offer a very unique opportunity for clients who have already purchased LTCI or is thinking about purchasing it. Our advisors have many years and numerous companies and also run a Nursing Registry where experienced Insurance agents are there to get the Patient the full benefit from their policy or their own dollar if they dont have insurance. The above may seem like an ad, but since we are only able to help Florida residents and know that most of the readers of this will be out of our state, please use this information as a guidline to who you access for your LTCI and also your Nursing needs. I am always available to answer questions for residents of our United States regardless of any monitary possibilities.

There are 2 assisted living facility nearby that are owned by the same national group. Unlike a facility under the same name 50 miles away that accepts insurance payments, the ones near me will take "private payments" only. No insurance is accepted. When I could pay for day care, I was very pleased w/the nearby ones. Now my loved one is 24/7 in assisted living. Is there a way I can get around this to keep my loved one closer to me?

When you find yourself suddenly in charge of a parent you no longer know, there are so many questions and no readily available help. Thank you for providing this service. It has answered so many of my questions, and has been invaluable for easing my mind, and helping to better understand the needs of my mother. Thanks so much!

My husband just sent into the Senior Club adult day care program for a one day visit. When I left he said he was having fun. I am in shock as we all thought he would refuse to go or stay once we got him there. You just never know on any given day what the reaction will be to a new situation. I must have been basing my opinion on "what used to be not what is" A valuable lesson learned on this journey

Most people overestimate the cost of a good long-term care policy. A healthy, married couple in their mid-fifties, can share a policy that starts off with over a half million in benefits for about $100 per month per spouse. There's a new type of government-approved long-term care policy that can protect your assets from Medicaid even if the policy runs out of benefits. Here's an explanation of how these policies work: http://bit.ly/How-Partnership-Policies-Protect-Assets Scott
