I live in the UK and i am starting the 3 day Eden course tomorrow, i love the thought of the Eden concept, we have birds and cats at the moment, although only a few residents bother with them, would love to bring in chickens and have our own vegetable patch ect, Can anyone give me any feedback on their residents opinions, most of our residents have dementia, does this affect the way you do things?

It does sound wonderful. However, as a family member who has recently gone through the entire process (Assisted Living, hospitalization, nursing home, etc.)the process is laborious, time-consuming, and fraught with legal and medical hurdles. Family members need to enter with their "eyes open" and the ability to take the time to do all the "checking up" that is critical.

This guy sounds amazing. How can I learn more about what he's doing and where?
