My son is very sick he had a Kidney taken out last year and has diabetics that is out of control and almost lost his leg and has had a serious of infection that cannot be cleared up, they have been given
all kinds of medicine he has spent the last six months in and out of the hospitals. He is starting to get dementia and his wife and 4 children are having a hard time handling the situation. My daughter in law is not well her self and works everyday and cannot take care of my son.
What kind of help does anyone have any suggestions on what she should do. The bills are piling up and she is falling apart. My grandchildren need her, my son can't help at all.
Please give me some suggestions.
Have they looked into SSI ? That is though Social Security and will offer some income for both the son and the children. Check with your local office or go to the ssa.gov website for more information. Medicade may offer some home nursing help as well.
