love and caring only goes so far after 14 yrs. what can we do now?
The problem is that she won't listen to me, when I ask her to do some thing. She gets an idea in her head and will not let go of it, until she gets it done. She wants to spend money she doesn't have, and when I try to explain this to her, she says I am being cheap, and don't let her have anything.
Hello,
What a heartbreaking situation.
What type of health issues is your wife suffering with? I know there will be lots of people who would love to offer you support and advice.
Hi,
Do you have a pastor who could make a difference? Maybe her doctor or some other very trusted friend or individual that she may listen to more closely than she would her spouse? (I know my kids will listen to another adult like they are the sage on the mountaintop than listen to me say the exact same thing!)
Perhaps find something you can both enjoy together. Going for a walk? Playing a game? Doing the little special things like leaving a message in a lunch or on a mirror? Little buttons that help close up the coat of your marriage around you both.
Let us know how things are going.
Pray & ask God to give you the right approach/ the right words and for God to touch her heart to recieve the advice . As a Believer Of Faith, A Christian we have to trust God in all things. Not doubting.. nothing is IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD !
Blessings !
At The Cross,
