Ammy, so sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. This must be very difficult for your entire family. I to just lost my dad in August of 2009. Other than the grieving your family is going through could money or past anger or resentment have anything thing to do with the way you and the only grandson are being treated. I know in my family since my dad has died some terrible things are coming out. If the only way to see your dad is a scheduled visit please do so and spend as much time day and night at the home. Maybe then and there you all can sit down a discuss what going on like adult. I'm praying for you it may not be easy when you get there but it's something you need to do for your dad and yourself
My mon died in Aug of 2009. My dad is 86 and in fair health. My sister has POA. I kknoiw that I am not able to help a lot due to my job and I live 450 miles away. My job requires so much traveling. In the past few days my sister has started accusing me of being a vulture and saying some very mean and vicious things. Now my dad no longer want me to discuss any business with him. I must call in advance to shcedula a visit. I cannot go to the family home without my sister. I believe something has happened in the last few days that is either physical or something has been said to him. His only grandson must follow the same rules and now he doesnt want to see or speak to his grandad. I cannot even ask my dad questions to find out if he is alright. Any thoughts?
