If you have a parent or other loved one living with you, what are some of the things that you both enjoy doing together?
My mom and I watched a lot of TV but that can definitely get old after awhile. I did enjoy getting her interested in "American Idol", though.
We also just discovered a game that is truly "fun for the whole family". It's called "Apples to Apples" and both my young kids AND my parents (and in-laws!) love it. It's rare to find something that all generations can enjoy nowdays!
What about you? Have you stumbled upon anything that both you and the person you're caring for enjoy doing together?

Finding something that the family can do together can be difficult.
I found that my kids loved to play games with my grandma and she loved playing with them.
Crafts were also fun for all but she loved to scrapbook and I would help her with that.
Another fun activity that also makes them feel special is making their favorite recipe, even if they can't really help much they can sit and give you instructions as you make it and they love that you are carrying on their recipes to the family. Makes them feel like they are contributing something.
