I am dealing with a lot of emotion, because I have a granmother that is in her 90' . She is blind, almost deaf and she is not able to move at all anymore, since a lot of time. My mother is in her 70' and she just recently got a surgery  but she complaint about a pain an inflammation in his stomach. AND since maybe 10 years when she hit her head in a fall, she start to forget thing and have trouble with his talk. It´s not that she forget the word but she is not able to say them. I am concern that she has Alzheimer or something, but here where I come from, there is no institution for that, and I just can make her go the doctor for a proper test, I don't even know they have one. NEED SOME HELp

Hi abgeiba,

I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties here. Where are you, if you're not in the United States?

It sounds like your mother won't see a doctor. You could call and check with some doctors to see what they say about needing to see her. That might start to get her willing to go.

Please let us know how things are going.

Laura

Hi abegeiba,

I know it is so hard to deal with mental problems. Sometimes it feels so helpless.  I would try to take her to a regular doctor for a checkup and see if they can help.  Best wishes to you!

Hi, thank you I took my mother to see the doctor, he gave her some pills because he said that she has a inflammation in his colom, and he said nothing about the forgeting things... I don't know he just said that she forget things because she is on a lot of stress but I don't think so, I will try with another doctor in a couple of week, hope I can take her without complain.
