I have retired from nursing after 58 years. 30 of them as a privated duty in home nurse or as it is called now caregiver. I have had the opportunity of working with people who are in transition.

The most beautiful thing is to se the release one thier face as they enter the kingdom of heaven.

Please remeber at this time of stress in your life. Death is not the end, but the beggining. Going home is something none of us will escape.

Thank you so much for sharing that Rozzy.  Losing a loved one is such an emotional time that's often mixed with feelings of relief that the pain is over and deep grief over saying goodbye forever.  Hearing a professional describe final moments with peace is so comforting.  Because isn't that what we all want?  Thank you again.

I agree, this is a great reminder/piece of wisdom! You sound like you were wonderful at your profession!

I try very hard to see it like that - just a change of venue for us.

Thanks so much for sharing your perspective with us, Rozzy30.
