A higher percentage of men bottle up their problems unlike most women. A lot of men believe they can do it all alone which is very unfortunate.

I believe "stress" and how it is dealt with leads to more heart attacks among men than women. Women also tend to visit their doctor and dentist more than men. When I reached the age of 50, my doctor recommended alot more tests (mammography, bone-density, CBC, cholesterol, thyroid, etc.) and I follow up on these every year or two. I visit my dentist twice yearly also. Dental problems can also lead to health problems.

Their masculine and their affairs, body muscles, what they are for and sometimes they dont share there problems as women do. But above all they are too daring for risky things which damage their body.

I'm posting out of frustration really. My friend asked me why more men get heart attacks seemingly than women. Everywhere it says that men are at more risk, and women react differently, or survive at different rates, or they are just as much at risk but after menopause, but WHY? What exactly makes a man more at risk? Why is a woman less likely to survive a heart attack, apparently? Why after menopause? There are lots of statements and no answers!!!
