That's a bit harsh, but true. She's 73, and MANIC right now and is so argumentative, irritable, not sleeping, not letting my father sleep, I live 6 hours away ("I'm the only child, I live with my husband and two of my nearly grown boys in San Diego, they live in Bullhead City AZ.)
Hi, I think you can't fix this situation
The only thing left is to pray for them.
I know God is doing something in your
life don't miss the lesson that God has for you.
Ask God to revel what he wants you to learn out of
This situation and you will get an answer.
God bless
Try looking for a support group that deals with relatives of people with mental health issues. I'd been in Alanon, what a huge help and relief to know that I was not alone. I also learned to recognize that by worrying and trying to fix, I was only hurting myself. If I don't take care of myself, I am of no use to anyone. You can check with the National Alliance on Mental Health Issues about support groups. They should be able to point you in the right direction. http://www.nami.org/ I've never dealt with them so I don't know how they are. Also, local area gov't groups might know where to go for help. BTW, I have been diagnosed as bi-polar. I do take my meds so have it under control. I can sympathize with you and your mom. It is a tough situation. Good luck.
