If you could have a day off, what would you do?

OOk a whole day off can it be night too? I would go window shopping,get some good food,go to the park and watch the ducks,get a room and sleep without phones and tv just being somewhere other than at home. Being alone would be so great.

Pamper myself - take a long bubble bath, get a manicure/pedicure, facial, mud bath, waxed/plucked etc..., read, paint (I love art), sleep in, not cook/clean (go out to eat), listen to music, play with my dog, take a long drive on a lonely road. Take my camera and take photos of anything and everything. I could go on..but I think that all this would take a few days to do. :)

i would go to the beach where me and my dad used to go, eat pizza get more tattoos and watch the sun set with a drink in my hand and sleep the night away

I would find a place, maybe a motel room that is in away from noisy environments and do absolutely nothing. I need some quiet time.

I finally got 2 1/2 days off as part of this years vacation. All summer long the girls with kids had off. I go up every weekend to take of my 88 year old mother, taking her out shopping, cleaning her house, cutting her grass etc. On my way home from work for 1/2 a day, I went to her bank to get her stock fixed, then food shopping for something for my dinner. Then the other two days, I had the oil burner cleaned, decorated for fall, cleaned house, washed clothes, had my blood test finally done and then did the weekly food shopping for work, Mom and myself. I need to go back to work to rest now. I need a maid. that would help me out. I still have to fix some food to take to Mom's this weekend.

Spend the day biking with my 10 year old.

WOW a day to myself? hmmm has never happened in my life... I have taken care of my mentally ill/handicapped elderly mother since I was 13 yrs old... I am now 44 yrs old.... also I have been raising children since the same age... before I had my own children I took care of kids by being a babysitter, a preschool teachers assistant, a daycare provider assistant, a nanny, plus helped my dad with his foster children which he took in over 100 children from when I was 11 until I was 25 and moved out... So back on subject, I dream of having a day or a weekend alone with my husband.... AHHHHHH that would be so nice... just escape from here and be free from all my responsibilities.

I'm not sure my fantasy has gotten any further than time to myself. Let's see...a night in a motel and/or shopping out of town. Anything by myself, I guess.
