HER2 +

I'm not sure what you're asking. Is this a diagnosis of some sort?

Well I was having lunch with another survivor and she said that she was very upset about being her2+. So I asked her why because I was under the impression that her2+ was a good thing seeing I was not estrogen +. She said that her doctor told her that having her2+ tumor means he could never say she was "cured" and that there is a high risk of the cancer returning as metastatic lung, bone or liver. Now I will talk to my oncologist who works with her doctor, I am a little upset by this, that is was told to me.

Oh! Well, yes, I think you're right in the asking for clarification with the oncologist, certainly.

I wonder if the two somehow refers to the stage the cancer tumor was in? Let us know what the oncologist says, I'd be interested to know. And of course, I'll keep your friend in my thoughts and prayers.

no my tumor was actually further along then hers I was stage 3 with a grade 3 tumor. or are you refering to the 2 in her2, HER2/neu is a growth factor receptor that is usually seen in agressive tumors. Which inturn allows the tumor to grow extremely fast. Which my tumor was + for.
