Holy God....I wish this was a joke...help...

Granny's diagnosis (we finally got it): Severe OsteoArthritis. Kidney function is down a bit.

Her Gallstones have been worse the past three weeks. Worse each day. They were clogging up the toilet, so she had this brilliant idea (my suspicion was verbally confirmed by my mom last night) to put her gallstones in plastic grocery bags and then into the regular trash.

Isn't this a Biohazard??? - She refuses to use an in-bedroom toilet with special human waste bags.

Ideas?

Holy God, I wish I was not kidding!!!!!

Hey DolphinsCry..ain't caregiving just the most fun you ever had? NOT!!! If u are referring to "BM waste" and I am assuming u are, the quicker u can get rid of it the better. I have tried to use the toliet for disposal and have plugged it up many times. I stopped doing that. I just plastic bag my soiled diapers and into the trash they go. the less handling the better. It must be the medicine they take or the way they process there food, but that can be some NASTY stuff. You are not alone with your struggles, we got them too. take care..

I agree. For the last few months of my grandmother's life, her BM smelled horrendous. I had to put perfume on a face mask to help change her, and even then, I had to leave the room after a few minutes. It was that bad. I've smelled a fridge full of rotting meat, and THIS was worse.

I say do what you gotta do. We threw her diapers away in the trash, separately bagged.
