Last Month I was put in the hospital for surgry. The doctors cant tell me what kind it is except 3rd stage, because of the location of it. Now they want me to take kemo and it scares me because the place I have to go is 60 miles from where I live and I have noone to drive me.And i hear all kinds of storys about how sick I will be and other things. I dont know what to do I've asked the kemo doctors and they say I'll have to go agressive medication for 6 months and I'm just PURE Scared . Then they cant give me an answer if it will help or not... Has anyone got any help for me and or answers??

First of all, I'm sorry you're dealing with prostate cancer.
Have you talked to your doctors about getting chemo closer to your home? I ask because when my father-in-law had lung cancer, he was being treated by doctors more than a hundred miles away from his house, but they did not require him to return to those offices for chemo. They wrote out the prescription and it was administered to him at an office only 5 miles from his home. He only returned to the office 100 miles away for follow-up visits. I'm not sure if the same process can be used for prostate cancer, but it's worth asking your doctors.
