Hi I am trying to be a better caregiver to my mother - I feel like I can and should be able to come up with daily projects or things to do that she can tackle on her own. She is early stage - has about 5 good days vs 2 bad each week. She has low energy (she's 88 and has heart disease) but she was always well organized and enjoyed doing something constructive - very little idle time in her life! So, I was trying to think of things I can give her to do that would be productive and entertaining, without being too taxing. And, that really won't matter if she does them or not. So far, I've asked her to do things like sweep the sidewalk or empty the dishwasher (I have to go behind her and re-do some of it, but she generally does ok). I tried a puzzle but it was too complicated for her, so wondering if you have any suggestions. She is alone several hours a day.

Hey, we had a good discussion about this here awhile ago. I hope some of these suggestions are helpful for you.

Let us know what you've tried and how it goes.
