Lost father to cancer at 26, mother to Parkinson's Disease at 28.  Still have nagging guilt now and then that I could have done more, should have done more when I was trying to care for them at home, manage school, start a family, and start a career.  Trying to do it all, I felt like I've ended up doing nothing successfully.  I wish this website and helpful organizations like adult daycares and tech monitors had been available then.  I'm so very glad for all the caregivers out there that they are now.  Nearly 10 years later, I'm finding helpful advice and comfort here that have been long in need.
