Bio

My sisters and I are caring for our 91-year-old mother in her home, which Mom refuses to leave.  This web site is an awesome resource for me, and a place where I am continually reassured that I'm not the only one struggling to care for someone I love.

In the rest of my life are two teenage sons, a supportive husband, a full-time job as a flight nurse, wonderful siblings and a group of girlfriends who laugh and cry with me; and Malcolm, the best Golden Retriever in the universe.

I'm very blessed to have Mom, even though it's been tough at times.  I'm thankful to be given the opportunity to care for her, and to have the support of the caring.com community.
