My father just passed away February of this year. Daddy was just 69. My mother just turned 68. She works as a private duty nurse and she lives next door to me but she's down in the woods and is afraid to stay by herself at night. Every night at 9:00, she comes up, sleeps in the recliner because of her sleep apnea, goes home the next morning, after she cleans my entire house. "Control issues" is putting it lightly! I thought about selling our properties and buying something where she could live with me and us not have to pay for 2 homes. It would have to be a house with a den and a living room so I could have my space. She doesn't want her space. She wants hers and mine. My daughter has moved out and I've been single for almost 5 years and liking the solitude but I need advice and support with my Mom.
