      <description>&lt;p&gt;I always thought you had to have a funeral home or ambulance for transportation, but apparently that is not necessarily true, and depends on the state.&amp;nbsp; I just came across this &lt;a href="http://www.sevendaysvt.com/features/2007/dead-wrong.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;article&lt;/a&gt; [sevendaysvt.com] about it.&amp;nbsp; While it doesn't give the specifics, it does list lots of resources like the &lt;a href="http://crossings.net/" rel="nofollow"&gt;Crossing&lt;/a&gt; [crossings.net] site and a book at &lt;a href="http://www.amazon.com/Caring-Dead-Your-Final-Love/dp/0942679210" rel="nofollow"&gt;Amazon&lt;/a&gt; [amazon.com] that has all the laws by state...&lt;/p&gt;</description>
