Thanks, Dad, for letting me be myself. FOr believing in my skill as a parent. For making me your little girl forever and ever. I miss you.

We lost my father-in-law six years ago and I would give just about anything to have one more day with him. I'd share a long list of things I want to thank him for. So in honor of Father's Day, here are a few of them. I'd love to read everyone else's as well.

Thank you dad (in-law) for showing me that people show love in different ways. And even if they don't wear it on their sleeve, it's most certainly there.

Thank you dad (in-law) for showing me the value in taking financial risks. You were the king of financial information! I miss not having you to call on when I have a question.

Thank you dad (in-law) for shaping your son into the outstanding man he is today. I see so much of you in him. Every time he goes outside to putter in his garden after work for a few minute of solace, I smile and think of you.
