Hi Jeanne:

After watching 3 relatives die with cancer I have decided to accept no treatment when my turn comes.

At the moment I'm the caregiver of someone battling stage 4 lung cancer and this has only confirmed my decision.

God bles you.

Ann

Hello Jeanne, I am sorry that you are having to deal with so much as I know that you are going through a very difficult time while still having to deal with the loss of your son.. I want you to know that my thoughts and my prayers are with you and I truly do understand that you fear the complications more than the cancer itself. I have had many patients tell me the same thing. We can however be there to give you support, love and understanding. You are a very courageous person already in having to deal with the surgery. I want you to know that you offer so much to people such as myself and teach us more than you will ever know. No matter what decision you make I hope that you will share with us your thoughts so that we can pass along any knowledge to others that you have so much of to share.

God Bless You!

Hi Jeanne, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August 2007. I had a leep then a radical hysterectoimy. Then I was told I needed to have chem

o/radiation treatments for at least 8 weeks, yet no one has told me what stage i'm in. I have not had the treatments, like you I have seen the destruction and misery that comes with it.I know this isnt any help (or advice) but i would like to stay in touch in case I may be able to sometime down the road. Please know that you have sorta been an inspiration just knowing I am not the only person that has chosen to try without the treatments. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Hope to hear more from you.Wishing you the best you are not alone. Emerald

I was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year. Four years after I lost my son to a brain tumor after a 12 year battle. I have opted not to do any treatment except the surgery. I want to know if anyone else has made the same decision and how they did. I fear the complications of the treatments than I do the cancer. I never met anyone who felt the way I do about it. I hope your still out there! If not I guess I see ya soon.
