cervical cancer and no treatments any advice?

Oh Jeanne, I'm so sorry for your diagnosis.  I don't have a personal experience or advice to share, but I wanted to welcome you to Caring's groups.  I'm really hopeful others will be able to offer some words of wisdom.

Hi Jeanne, I was diagnosed with  cervical cancer in August 2007. I had  a leep then a radical hysterectoimy.Then I was told I needed to  have chem

o/radiation treatments for at least 8 weeks, yet no one has told me what stage i'm in. I have not had the treatments, like you I have seen the destruction and misery that comes with it.I know this isnt any help (or advice) but i would like to stay in touch in case I may be able to  sometime down the road.Please know that you have sorta been an inspiration just knowing I am not the only person that has chosen to  try  without the treatments. Hello Jeanne, I am sorry that you are having to deal with so much as I know that you are going through a very difficult time while still having to deal with the loss of your son.. I want you to know that my thoughts and my prayers are with you and  I truly do understand that you fear the complications more than the cancer itself. I have had many patients tell me the same thing.We can however be there to give you support, love and understanding. You are a very courageous person already in having to deal with the surgery. I want you to know that you offer so much to people such as myself and teach us more than you will ever know. No matter what decision you make I hope that you will share with us your thoughts so that we can pass along any knowledge to others that you have so much of to share.

After watching 3 relatives die with cancer I have decided to accept no treatment when my turn comes.

At the moment I'm the caregiver of someone battling stage 4 lung cancer and this has only confirmed my decision.
