Any suggestions?

Found a tumor in my fathers leg, has a fatty tumor on back, middle top.  Biopsy, CT scans, MRI, scheduled for "PET" scan?  What does that mean????

Once a heavy smoker, quit for over 7 years-60year old caucasion male with history of MS.

Feels like we are going in circles....  He is very positive albeit the pain he is in is extreme-any words of days to come or what we should expect emotionally.  Already breaking down when I am alone
