My mum has recently broken her hip, and I am really concerned about her post op recovery. My mum suffers with epilepsy and has epileptic turns mainly when waking up which often results in falling as a consequence. Mum lives alone and I imagine the risks are far to high for mum to return home as her bathroom and toilet are upstairs and pre op struggled to get up them. Should I push to ensure mum has a place at a rehabilitation residential unit?

This is really useful. More to number 8 - there are number of ways to make the bathroom easier to handle. My client Dave's Aunt Margaret broke her hip - so he invented this to help her and she loved it.
