What was your first reaction when your parent was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease?

Relief. I knew there was something wrong, and it was good to get a diagnosis.
Panic. I wasn't ready to deal with what this would mean for me or my parent.
Concern. I don't want my parent to suffer.
