Strokes led to the vascular dementia my Mom suffers. It is a silent process and I'm not sure what could have been done still----------------

If she would have had regular checkups and gotten on high blood pressure pills earlier in life that is one thing that could have been done but she did not go to doc until too late. Then as now she would not take much if any suggestions so what are we to do.
