My mother endured years of illnesses related directly to diabetes. Heart disease, kidney failure, being the worst of all the illnesses she had. She always maintained a sense of humor no matter how sick she was. I think it's what carried her through all the traumas she suffered physically, mentally, and emotionally. I wish I could have her back just one more time, even to blow out this candle I have lit in her honor. I love you , Ma. Rest easy.

Omg!!!! The memories that have just flashed in my head of this beautiful,kind hearted soft spoken woman. I think of her often. She was my second mom. I lived with her for many yearand I have many things to thank her for. She was one hell of a story teller. When I was little she use to tell me, Dar, Dawn bedtime stories. The little Match Girl, Hanzel and Grettle were my favorites. She would tell those stories and she would make them seem so real.
I enoyed our BINGO nights. Seemed like we would walk for miles just too go. She never let her illness get in the way of something she enjoyed. I love you Millie and I hope you are resting easy.
You will always live on in my heart, and memeories. Cause we sure had some great times..
