Candle Story for Lois Cohen

Three years ago, I lost my mom to lung cancer. This candle is a tribute to her.

My mom was a social worker who spent her whole career helping people. I gave a eulogy at her funeral urging my kids to follow her example of living life to the fullest and helping people along the way. Reflecting on that eulogy, and my career in internet sales and marketing, I realized I wasn't doing enough to help people. That realization, and her example of a life well lived, inspired me to start Caring.com. I think she'd be proud that Caring.com has helped millions of people make a difficult journey a little bit easier.
