I lost my Mom three days ago (Oct. 20th) after four years of a truly courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. Pneumonia finally took her. She was 81. I spent 31/2 years with her, just the two of us. That's 31/2 years that nobody else got with her but me. It was during this time that I truly got to know my Mom and how grateful I am for this time that I had with her. It wasn't always easy, it wasn't always fun but I'd do it all over again if I could. I love you Mom

How beautiful! She sounds like a loving, caring Mom who suffered but was strong. I am so touched by you I am crying for your loss.
I hope that you stay strong now for her even though she is gone she lives within you.
The beautiful but sometimes sad memories of your Mom will always stay with you. I am so grateful you got to really know her. You sound like a beautiful person inside and out.
