Candle Story for In Honor, Love and appreciation for my Mom, Sister, Dad and Earl Cooper, my Brother-in-Law

In 1994, I lost my dad at age 80 to Colon Cancer, My absolute ANGEL, my Mom of whom wil ALWAYS be as she has ALWAYS been, very loved and respected by more people of all ages than I could EVER know. She went Home to Jesus Jan.3,1997, from Brain Cancer while peacefully sleeping, at the age of 68 and my awesome big sister, Susan Martinez Pepin. Her life career was getting young people interested in further education beyond high school. She truly believed with all of her heart that education was the means to achieve ones dreams and she went further with each of her students and helped them in their personal lives so that nothing kept them from being able to achieve their personal and most importantly their educational dreams and even attended MOST of her students graduations. She had just turned 47 a couple of months earlier, less than 2 years older than I, she went to Jesus March 23th, 2006,she had Esophogial Cancer, I was diagnosed about a year later with metestatic Breast Cancer, God has more for me to do, as after a couple of major surgeries,2 and a half years later, I am still here thank ourGood Lord, and last but certainlynot least, my Brother-in-Law who spent his life working hard, raising a family and was so kind and generous to all.He passed away in September of this year after a sudden and quick bout with Lukemia/ Lymphoma. He is survived by his wife, my oldest sister, they would have been married 47 years the following day, and only living member other than my self from our family of origin. Each and EVERY one of them is GREATLY LOVED and MISSED by EVERY one who knew them. God Bless every one of you that has lost a loved to the horrible disease, Cancer and every one else who has lost loved ones to the many other diseases that steal our lives and our loved ones and thank you for this website, I felt SO ALONE since the first Cancer victim, My Dad, passed away after fighting it for almost 4 years. They are all my heros, they taught me to fight just as they did and I do my best to help those who have been struck with this disease, God is my strength and Savior just as he is for my family, who have gone home to rest in his precious loving arms where they wait for me to join them when my time comes. Sincerest Thanks, God Bless you all, Katheryn Winfrey Lake
