Candle Story for my wonderful sister-in-law, Tami

After being kindly pressured by co-workers, my sister-in-law, Tami got her first routine mammogram at age 45. Much to her shock and dismay, cancer was detected regardless of a total absence of symtpoms. She went through chemo and is still, five years later, on drugs to help keep the disease from recurring. Despite having reached the five year mark for survivorship, I know mammograms are still stressful for her, understandably. So my candle is for her. May it burn for a healthy, cancer-free future for her.

I'll continue to keep her in my thoughts and prayers! Getting to that 5 year mark is awesome and I hope that the cancer continues to stay away!
