My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She was diagnosed as Stage 3 and had a right mastectomy in May of this year. Praise God, she is in remission. My mother is the strongest woman I have ever known. Throughout this entire ordeal (chemo and mastectomy) she has continued to put her children, grandchildren and husband ahead of herself. She has showed more concern for us than for herself! I look forward to many more years of having her in our lives and thank God and all of her doctors for her still being here. To all who are affected by breast cancer...stay strong and positive...my mom is a SURVIVOR and your loved one can be too.
