Mom developed Alzheimer's symptoms after hip surgery 5 years ago. I quit my 3 part-time jobs to stay home with her full time. I care for her 24/7 with only an occasional break to run a short errand if one of my girls can stay with her. Mom is the joy in my life. I am so happy to be able to be with her and to give back for all she did for me. I hope she continues to live with me for many, many years. She is happy, comfortable, and in general, not in too much pain. She doesnt' worry like she used to.
