Candle Story for Theresa, My lovely Mom

I would like to light this candle for my mother who has always been there for her 5 children and our father. Although she now suffers from this mind thief of a disease, I have so many wonderful memories to tell her about. I love to see the glimmer in her eyes when I talk to her. And yes, it is hard to see her suffering through the bad days but I'm thankful for my wonderful husband who works so hard and has been so supported and loving during this difficult time. I'm grateful to be able to be here for her. I thank God for giving me the opportunity and strength to be there for my Mom, as she has always been there for US.
