My Dear Mother has developed one of the signs of Alzheimer's in the last 2 years. She had Dementia and cannot remember one thing in less than 5 minutes. I love her dearly and miss my ol' mum. I hope someday a cure for this type of problem will be found. Blessings to Us All, for those who suffer the disease and the people in their lives that love them.

My grandmother suffered from dementia. It is so tough on the person that serves as the main caregiver. It sounds like you are doing nice relaxing things to help to reduce your stress and also build some peaceful memories at the same time. I will keep you in my prayers and send a hug along too. My mother has dementia and i feel for you. I give you a big hug and my prayers are with you. I am beginning to enjoy the small things like sitting outside with her and just enjoying nature. She knows that I care and that is what I want her to feel.
