Specific rules for older drivers

  • Renewal fees are reduced for drivers 60 and older who wish to obtain a driver's license with no photo.

Standard driver's license renewal

  • License renewed: Every 5 years.
  • Renewal conditions: In person every other cycle for those under age 60. Licenses issued to those 60 and older may be nonphoto licenses and can be obtained by mail or Internet every cycle.
  • Vision test: No.
  • Written test: No.
  • Road test: No.
