Hi, I had a bilateral mastectomy on Dec 3rd for DCIS stage 2 in right breast. The breast surgeon opted for lumpectomy and radiation but I researched and decided on a double with recon. It proved to be an excellent choice because the left "unwanted" breast had LCIS filling all four quadrants.
