“Mom is forever putting on and taking off her sweater. It gets crammed down in her wheelchair or whatever chair she's sitting in, so we went to the vintage store and found sweater clips. They're really pretty, and now she can slide her arms out but not ‘lose’ her sweater! I even bought one for myself.”

For a picture, try looking them up on E-Bay. They usually have a pretty front and often have alligator clips on the back. They come in pairs, with a chain connecting them. You attach one alligator clip to the left side of your sweater (usually about the level you'd put a brooch, or perhaps closer to the top) and attach the other alligator clip to the right side of your seater. They can be very pretty! Very old-fashioned, but it would be nice if they came back in style. As I said, check them out on E-Bay or do a google search and then click on "images" to see what they look like. Very fun!

Umm.... so what are sweater clips? What do they do? How do you use them? What do they look like?
