The laughter Andy and the gang gave us will stay with us forever, and we hope the re-runs will too... we are a part of the Andy Griffith era, and so are our children, tho they are young now... we send our prayers and our love to your family, and will always keep you in our heart... RIP Andy.

I don't know if it is that I was born and raised in the south and relate to Mayberry, or if now at 52 I'm seeing most of my favorite actors, musicians, and politicans who elp shape the world I lived in passing away, but this kind, warm hearted celebrity passing, tugged at my heart more than I anticipated.
Your Andy Griffin show is a legend and always will be on tv. Ron Howard I believe is the only one left out of the show
